The Sorsogon Provincial Tourism Council, Inc. envisions our home province to be a haven for an integrated, ecologically nurturing, cultural and gender-sensitive tourism. We are committed to provide holistic and enriching experiences both to local and international tourists, which contributes to the sustained economic growth and development of Sorsogon's local communities. Part of our mission is to preserve the cultural heritage and indigenous practices of our people.

In line with our mission, we have started a fund-raising campaign for the establishment of The Sorsogon Provincial Museum and Heritage Center. To help us raise funds for the museum, we are holding the Mrs. Balik Sorsogon 2006 and Mrs. Balik Bicol Pageant on June 26, 2006, in time for Sorsogon City's month-long Pili Festival.
